The 3D Studio

Four interactive models for the two disciplines this site covers. Each one is a real simulation driven by the numbers you set — not an animation — and each one falls back to a static diagram if your device cannot render 3D.

These are teaching simulations

Every model is generated from the parameters you set. The numbers are indicative, not measurements of your own equipment. Real machines follow their own instructions and safety limits — read them.

WebGL support

Checking…

The studio checks for WebGL before loading any 3D library. If the browser cannot render 3D, every tool falls back to a static diagram with the same figures.

Desktop recommended

The models want a reasonable GPU. On a phone the studio opens in the static reference version and offers a button to load the 3D one anyway.

Nothing is downloaded until you open a tool

The 3D library is loaded on demand, only on the four studio pages. The rest of the site never requests it.

Reduced motion is respected

With prefers-reduced-motion set, auto-rotation, liquid flow and steam are all switched off.
